20 grand to wash this up fast before greuel gets investigated for corruption again

I often wait on Magnolia 2 blocks from Laurel canyon light waiting for the traffic to go so I can turn onto Laurel Canyon Blvd from Magnolia Blvd. And then one you turn after 7PM you better watch for the idiots that are trying to take all of the street parking for Kulaks, it is dangerous and it is a block away from the Orange Line so it kills people being able to park there and take the Bus.

I see Greuel doesn't give a shit about our streets or the traffic in them and I want someone to investigate her and see what her real motive is for clearing the way for 3 Major condo buildings, kicking hundreds of rent control people out in the street so her area can become the high rise condo place of the valley. What happened to "the keep the Valley a village feel"?? So sorry homeowners who bought into that, she has other plans and motives! The ousting of people who depend on rent control? And we are talking about hundreds of people from the 2 Schaffel Development projects. And that ugly ole question arises. Does Schaffels construction people buy from Frontier Building Supply? That would explain Frontier (Greuels family business and since they have passed on it should be hers now) Building Supply giving to the contributions of Greuel but construction companies working for Schaffel or Schaffel himself not donating. I they are buying supplies from Greuels company well then there ya have it. I call it personal gain if they are doing it but some other city agency will have to do the investigation. How about ethics committee? Well they sure as hell haven't acted on anything I have sent them regarding Greuels corruption so far. Maybe they are like the PLUM commission and all in the same game that used to be PAY TO PLAY. How quickly city council wanted that washed under the bridge.

Well guys, ladies, I believe Greuel has brought me out over a little crooked illegal establishment called Kulaks and I know, when you see "ONE COCKROACH" there are thousands of other waiting to be caught! I would say around here the bugs are coming from Kulaks give donation for food game, another violations she allows him to get away with. But if that were the case wouldn't he have to be a non profit status? Well the money he does show, he has to because North Hollywood Forum takes 10% and cleans the money for the people who are donating it, and then Kulak the criminal operation gets the rest.

Oh what a wonderful Valley We live in and yes, it is surrounded by a wonderful city, Los Angeles, Los Angeles City Council that is.

Bowing to pressure from City Council members, a developer agreed to pay an additional $20,000 in relocation costs for tenants evicted from a Valley Village apartment building to clear the way for approval of a condominium project.

Developer Gary Schaffel, under terse questioning from Councilman Bill Rosendahl, agreed to make the additional payment to end the controversy that had surrounded his project after a city planner mistakenly left a telephone message with a tenant promising the developer would win approval "no matter what."

Former tenants in the building played the taped message at hearings, and raised concern that the project approval process had been tainted.

They also appealed the project, saying the developer should have paid higher relocation fees recently enacted by the city.

The agreement by Schaffel won him approval, on a 11-0 vote, for the project to build 78 units at 11933 Magnolia Boulevard.

Schaffel said he had already given $20,000 for tenant relocation money above what was legally required. But he said he was willing to pay tenants an additional $20,000 for "peace of mind" and to get his project moving.

Councilwoman Wendy Greuel, in whose district the project is located, said she was upset by the telephone call made by planner Jack Chiang, but that it did not change the reasoning for approval of the project.

"I'm pleased that we were able to get the additional money for tenants," Greuel said, but added: "The process was a messy process that didn't necessarily make the city look good, but the desired outcome was achieved."

Officials in the Planning Department roundly criticized Chiang for his telephone call and said he is being disciplined.

But they defended the decision Chiang had reached in approving the tract map for the development.

Schaffel said he felt sorry for Chiang.

"Had I gotten that message on my phone, I wouldn't have taken it as anything more than the conditions of the appeal had no merit and would be rejected," he said.

He is new at this corruption game, give him a break, he doesn't know yet the Greuel code of silence. But the whole Greuel office sure does don't they??

I think it was meant to happen, she has been too smooth at getting away with it for tooooo long, it's about time she got caught up for her dirty deeds. It wouldn't effect the outcome, yea, that's why she urged her buddy Schaffel to pay the extra money.

I still say something stinks, with the family owned Frontier Building supply I would think she shouldn't be in a position where she can be corrupt or pay special favors like she did for Kulak. he was for nothing other then to pet her ego and assurance she can do anything she wants. This could possibly be for big money.

I heard she has her eye on the Controller position in city hall, are we that much of fools to allow this when there are any mistakes? If she is going to give special favors and treatment, deny people their rights etc ...Shouldn't she be at least good at it? Do you want to give someone so careless at passing on special favors a position of handling the cities money?Who gets what job, etc?

You got caught having the fix already in. I say investigate and return when you have the evidence and all of the people involved questioned and dishonored.
